Numeracy & Math Enrichment Programs

The I Can Scholarship Foundation Inc. is committed to strengthening students’ mathematical proficiency through engaging, practical, and student-centered instruction. Our program will deliver targeted numeracy support designed to build confidence and competence in foundational math skills for elementary and middle-grade students. To ensure high-quality instruction and expanded access to learning, we will partner with A Tutor That Cares Virtual Online School to provide students with additional academic support through virtual and small-group learning environments. Through this collaboration, students will receive individualized, skill-based instruction that addresses learning gaps and promotes mastery in key areas such as arithmetic, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning.

• Hands-On Math Workshops: Interactive sessions focused on strengthening foundational math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and early algebraic thinking 
• Engaging Problem-Solving Activities: Fun, student-centered exercises designed to improve critical thinking, logic, and computational fluency 
• Real-World Math Applications: Practical learning experiences that connect math concepts to everyday situations, increasing relevance and understanding 
• Targeted Skill Development: Personalized instruction based on student assessments to address gaps and accelerate academic progress 
• Virtual & Small-Group Support: Supplemental tutoring provided through our partnership to ensure consistent reinforcement and individualized attention 

• At least 75% of participating students will demonstrate measurable improvement in math proficiency, based on pre- and post-program assessments 
• Students will improve core arithmetic skills and problem-solving abilities aligned with grade-level standards 
• Increased student confidence and positive attitudes toward math, as measured through participation and feedback 
• Strengthened ability to apply mathematical concepts in real-world contexts
